This one was a compelling read from start to finish, Rob Marshall is tasked with the re-opening of a 25 year old case, involving a group of teenagers, who were friends of Andrea Elliott and included Gary Hislop, who the police are trying to get enough evidence against for drug dealing amongst other crimes.
When the campaigner Heather Mcgill is found dead in the same spot of the original death, this spurs Rob on to analyse the people who were involved at the beginning, this case finally sends Rob over to the carribean with an officer from the Canadian police force to find their joint suspect and close the case .. but it doesn't end in quite the way either Rob or Tremblay imagined 🤔 this ends with Rob promotion being confirmed, but with strings attached, and Andrea Elliott being sacked further into the grip of Gary Hislop. A great read from start to finish .. with several hints towards book 9, definitely worthy of this 5🌟 rating 👏

Best Rob Marshall book so far….compulsive reading and a great cliff hanger at the end…..can’t wait for book 9….10/10 five stars is not enough thanks!
